Rafter J will be hosting a Youth Rally presented by Life Giver Youth on Saturday, March 21, 2009, from 2:00 - 5:00pm.

Youth Rodeo

A few weeks ago we had Youth Rodeo including Roping Events, Barrels Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, and other events. More youth rodeo action photos may be seen in this Web Gallery Award images from this event, as well as other events are posted on our new Youth Webpage.

News and Notes

The last day to order Angel Food for December is Sunday, December 6. Angel Food pick-up will be Saturday, Saturday, December 19, at 9:00 a.m. at the church.
Our Nursery opens Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Our Sunday morning worship service is at 10:00 a.m.. We have bible study every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. covering the book of Jonah. Our youth meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. Children's Church is also at 10:30. We have another bible study covering the book of Romans that meets every Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at the church. And our Men's fellowship meets every Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. at the church.
If you wish to speak with the secretary, please call 972-551-3844. She can be reached on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you wish to speak with a member of the ministerial staff, please call 972-670-1233.
Our open arena for Rafter J members and their guests is every Sunday afternoon from 1-5 p.m. Our general open arena is every Monday night from 6:30 - 9 p.m.

Our horsemanship class meets every Tuesday night from 7 – 8:30 p.m. This month we will be meeting in the classroom.
Our Meet the Pastor night is every Wednesday evening with 6, 7, and 8 p.m. time slots. This is by appointment only.
On Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19, we are having our annual Rafter J Christmas Program entitled "Silent Night" here at the church. The program starts at 7:30 p.m. both nights. We will have plenty of coffee and hot chocolate that night so plan on coming out and celebrating Christ's birthday with us.
And on Thursday, December 31, we will pray in the New Year at Doc and Whistler Higgins' house. Bring something to grill and enjoy good fellowship.
