November Rafter J News and Notes



  • The last day to order Angel Food for November is Sunday, November 8. Angel Food pick-up will be Saturday, November 21, at 9 a.m. at the church.


  • Our Nursery opens Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Our Sunday morning worship service is at 10:00 a.m.. We have bible study every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. covering the book of Jonah. Our youth meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. Children's Church is also at 10:30. We have another bible study covering the book of Romans that meets every Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at the church. And our Men's fellowship meets every Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. at the church.

  • Our open arena for Rafter J members and their guests is every Sunday afternoon from 1-5 p.m. Our general open arena is every Monday night from 6:30 ñ 9 p.m.

  • Our horsemanship class meets every Tuesday night from 7 – 8:30 p.m.


  • Our Meet the Pastor night is every Wednesday evening with 6, 7, and 8 p.m. time slots. This is by appointment only.


  • On Saturday, November 14, we are having a Open Horse show here at Rafter J. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. and the show starts at 10:30 a.m. This will be our last horse show of the year.


  • On Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, the Texas Fellowship of Cowboy Churches will be having their annual Cowboy Gathering at the Stockyards in Ft. Worth. Please contact the church for more information.


  • Sunday, November 29, we will have our Fifth Sunday Dinner on the Grounds here at the church after the worship service. Our ladies will also be having a Women's dessert cook-off. So plan on coming out for good food and fellowship.
